This is the work we do most of. Every wall in an older house is out of square, so a freestanding wardrobe leaves gaps and a fitted one does not. We template the room, build to the millimetre and scribe the units into the walls and the sloping ceilings.
Fitted wardrobes, media walls, alcove units and bedroom joinery are made to measure for the room, so they fit tight to walls and ceilings that are rarely straight in older London houses. We survey, draw the design and agree the finish before anything is made.
You choose the layout inside the wardrobe, including hanging rails, shelves, drawers and shoe storage, and the finish, from painted and handleless doors to wood effect and gloss. Media walls can include recessed TV sections, electric fire inserts, shelving and LED lighting, with the power points moved where needed.
The price depends on the length and height of the unit, the door style and finish, the internal fittings and any electrical work. Most wardrobes and media walls are fitted in one to three weeks on site once the design is agreed.

Yes, and it is most of what we do. The units are cut to follow the slope so the low sections become drawers and shoe storage instead of dead space.
How long does a bedroom take?
A single run of wardrobes is usually two to three days on site once the units are made. A whole bedroom with a media wall and a headboard runs to a week or two.
Do you do the doors and the internals?
Both. We would rather you picked the internal layout than inherited a standard one, so we set out the rails, shelves and drawers with you before anything is cut.
Can you fit wardrobes into a loft or under the eaves?
Yes. Sloping ceilings and eaves are where made to measure joinery makes the most difference, because off the shelf units leave dead space.
Do you move sockets and add lighting?
Yes. Our own electricians move sockets, add lighting inside wardrobes and wire media walls, and the work is certified.
