A new kitchen is mostly plumbing, electrics and walls, with cabinets at the end. We move the services, take out or open up walls where the layout needs it, then fit the kitchen you have chosen, so one team is responsible for the room working and not just the doors lining up.
Most kitchen jobs are more than fitting cabinets. The sink moves, the hob goes on an island, a wall comes out to join the kitchen to the dining room, or the whole room is part of a new extension. We handle the building work and the fitting together, so there is one team responsible.
New circuits for ovens, hobs and islands are notifiable electrical work, and gas hobs must be connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Our own electricians and gas engineers do this work, and you get the certificates at handover.
The price depends on how much the layout changes, whether walls come out, the flooring, and whether we fit your chosen kitchen or supply one. We fit units and worktops from most suppliers, and stone or quartz worktops are templated and fitted by the fabricator.

Either. Most clients choose their own units and worktops and we fit them. If you would rather we source it, we price the supply as a separate line so you can compare.
Can you knock the kitchen through to the dining room?
Usually, yes. If the wall is loadbearing it needs a steel designed by a structural engineer and a Building Control notice, and we arrange both.
How long will we be without a kitchen?
Typically two to four weeks for a straight replacement. Where walls come out it is longer, and we can set up a temporary sink and power point so you are not eating out every night.
Do you fit kitchens from Howdens, Wren or IKEA?
Yes. We fit kitchens from all the major suppliers and independent makers. Tell us where it is from at the survey and we allow for it in the price.
