A whole house is not eight small jobs. It is one programme where the rewire has to finish before the plasterer starts and the bathroom has to be tanked before the tiler arrives. Getting that order right is most of what you are paying for.
A full renovation brings a tired house up to date in one programme: strip out, structural changes, rewiring, replumbing and heating, new kitchen and bathrooms, plastering, flooring and decoration. It suits a house you have just bought, or one that has not been touched in decades.
The order of work matters more than anything. First fix electrics and plumbing go in before plastering, bathrooms are waterproofed before tiling, and floors go down after the messy trades have finished. We plan the whole programme before we start, so you know what happens each week.
The price depends on the size of the house, how much of the structure changes, the heating system you choose and the finishes. We price from a detailed scope of works, room by room, and payments are staged against work completed.

How do payments work?
Staged against work completed, agreed in writing before we start. You are never paying for work that has not happened.
Who certifies the electrics and gas?
Our own registered electricians and gas engineers, and you get the certificates at handover along with the Building Control sign off.
Can a renovation be done in stages?
Yes, if the budget needs it. We plan the stages so the first one does not have to be undone by the second, for example by running new cables and pipes in rooms you will finish later.
